Did a lot of work on "The Lady Buggy" (I think this is Chris's name for the new long body). The body has been wired, but the steering column and the dash still need to be installed and hooked up. Larry has the chassis ready for the body, so we did a test fit. You can see in the pictures that the rear of the body is hitting the alternator. Laryr is going to trim that up today and then mount the body. Looking forward to rolling it out into the sunlight so we can check the stance. This needs to be done in three weeks so Larry and his family can take it to Coos Bay with us.

I took the motor home over to Larry's so Chris can do her magic on it. It should come back clean as a whistle. We leave thursday for the 6-week trip, so we're cutting it kind of close to get it packed up, but we should make it. I'll be pulling the engine on the Turista today so I can replace the throu-out bearing that is "squealing like a pig". Everything else is a go. We're getting excited now.

Gary: Good Pix. I look forward to following the adventure. Bummed we couldn't go but that's life.

We have a blog also, along with our kids and the older grandkids. I think there are seven blogs in all. Great way to communicate and keep up on family since we are spread all over the world at the moment.
