OK, finally we are getting around to building the Red Fiberjet Rough Terrain Long Body Buggy (thanks Dennis!) that my brother Larry and his wife Chris bought last year. A little refresher here. Larry and Chris have a standard buggy, but now they have two kids and they need more room, hence the long body. Their current buggy has a Corvair engine in it, so they want to stay with that. But, they wanted a Reverse-Rotation engine so they could build this buggy on an IRS chassis. They now have a 70 Chassis (Thanks PPE (fellow in Kennewick, Wa)) that has had the new pans welded in, new brakes and lines, and has been sprayed with bed-liner. It looks really good. here's a bad picture...

The body is getting close to being bolted on, but I wanted to get started on the wiring. So, today I started wiring it up and Larry began the install of the taillights and the turn signals. He still needs a set of headlights and gauges, but I'll have everything stubbed off so when they arrive I can just hook them up. Here's a couple of pictures. He is going to use the Harbor Freight LED lights.

Hope to have it done by Cool Desert Nights here in Wa. (end of June), but we shall see.
